Ibiza 20 years later

In august 1999 I went to Ibiza. It was amazing. We had so much fun. We went to Privilege, to Godskitchen @ Amnesia, Renaissance with Roger Sanchez @ Pacha, Cream with Moloko, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold @ Amnesia, saw Carl Cox at Es Paradis and at Space, where we also saw MAW out on the terrace.

When I got home I recorded a mix of all the records I bought and heard on the island. It’s a cheesy mix with all the big hits from that summer. That Bob Marley track, Moloko and Planet Perfectos Bullet In The Gun and many more cheese monsters.

When I heard Mikael ’Tiger Stripes’ Nordgrens huge hit Sneaking Hotdogs In Peoples Pockets, I wanted to do a new Ibiza hits-mix. So here it is. If I had been 20 years younger this is the music I would love to dance to in Ibiza this summer. There are cheese, there are techno. Some breaks. Some really big tracks.
